Think again.

That the first train robbery happened out west?
Did you wonder....
What happened to the crew of the ship that delivered parts of the atomic bomb?
If you want to learn the little known history of Indiana that you missed in school then you should read INDIANA STORIES.
This is a work of historical fiction. My objective is to bring little known stories to life rather than to achieve textbook perfection in every detail. All of the significant facts are accurate. The characters are real and the main events actually happened as depicted

Jim Adkins has the wonderful ability to engage his readers. He has taken Indiana-related historical events and brought them to life. I felt drawn back, as a spectator to these moments in time. I recommend his book to anyone who enjoys delving into the past - whether you are a Hoosier or not!Product details

Indiana Stories Little Known Tales from the Heartland State Stories Book 1 eBook Jim Adkins Reviews
garbage. utter trash.
Rick and I really enjoyed this book. Easy reading and great for sharing with children. My daughter, while visiting from Washington state, read a few of the stories to her children. They also enjoyed and took a book home with them to finish.
Mr. Adkins does a great job of making little-known figures from Indiana history come alive, through comfortable dialogue and vivid description. You can see his passion for storytelling, history and his home state through his easily digestible, short stories. Particularly if you like stories dealing with military-related history (in addition to many others), you'll enjoy this book.
I have a minor in history and Jim Adkins found interesting stories many of which I had never heard of. He also gave depth to historical events which I did know about. I recommend this book.
